SLD Solutions Congratulates Antavius Ellison on LifeChanger of the Year Recognition

SLD Solutions is proud to congratulate Antavius Ellison, a dance teacher at Gabriella Charter School 1 - Echo Park in Los Angeles, California, for being recognized through National Life Group’s 2025–26 LifeChanger of the Year Program.

The LifeChanger of the Year Program honors K–12 educators who make a meaningful difference in the lives of their students, schools, and communities. Antavius’ recognition celebrates the kind of work that often goes beyond the classroom: helping students build confidence, discipline, creativity, and a stronger sense of self.

According to his LifeChanger of the Year profile, Antavius joined Gabriella Charter Schools in 2022 and has since become the Assistant Director of Dance Education and Company Director of GCS Company K!ds. Through dance education, mentorship, and school leadership, his work has helped create spaces where students feel supported, encouraged, and empowered.

As part of this recognition, Antavius received a $3,000 award to be shared between himself and his school. This achievement is a reminder that educators who invest deeply in their students deserve to be seen, celebrated, and supported.
